Christmas 2021

Christmas 2021 came with a giant snowstorm, so we had a white Christmas this year.  We enjoyed a traditional Christmas Eve dinner with Sarah and Peter's families and the Gabbart/Mulliner clan in town for the holiday. We managed a chair at a table for everyone, but it was a full house.

The Nativity with a new generation of actors

And because we had snow on the ground, we ended the evening with bottle rockets

Other fun times over the holiday included a sleepover with Nick and Garrett

Hot tubbing in the snow

A visit with the Wrights with plenty of snow for them to enjoy

And cooking with grandkids

Christmas Cookies

Our cookie crew is getting older and busier.  This year we didn't get to cookies until a week before Chrsitmas and the Bordelons came straight from Cub Scout Pack meeting. But we had a fun evening decorating cookies once again.

Sayulita November 2021

This year we chopped our Christmas tree and ate our turkey on Thanksgiving Day and then headed out early the next morning to Sayulita for a week of hanging out on the beach and relaxing with Peter's family.

We took a day trip on the "Fat Cat" part of the Alley Cat fleet

We released some turtles and had diiner at little sidewalk restaurants

Had some board time

A lot of time hanging out in the pool, looking for iguanas

A 2 mile walk through the jungle to the north beach

A few more pictures and a last sunset swim
